How it works
#1 SMS (Mobile Solutions) Ltd polls bookmaker's live feed
SMS Text Betting will poll a bookmaker's live feed at regular intervals and loads the current bets into its cloud based storage.
#2 Customer decides to place a bet
The customer sends the bet via text message to a telephone number associated with the bookmaker/stadium where he/she should have an account.
#3 Bet recognition takes place
When a bet is received it is parsed into sections to identify the bookmaker, sport and unique bet the customer would like to place.
#4 Bet acceptance occurs
This step is to ensure the bet being placed is genuine and the customer has sufficient funds to cover it.
#5 Confirmation is sent to the customer
Once the checks have taken place the customer is notified by text message and the bet is confirmed.
